Regency Home Care offers care that focuses on our clients’ physical, emotional and social needs. Our employees undergo a very thorough screening process and are uniquely Caregiver Quality Assurance Certified (CQA) to ensure that our clients only receive the highest quality of care. Our guarantee is to find the right match for every client. If you are not happy with your caregiver for whatever reason, we will find someone you are satisfied with. We offer care from as little as 4 hours to 24 hours, every day of the week, and all care is closely monitored by one of our registered nurses. Regency Home Care operates under the requirements of the law and is appropriately licensed based on local regulation as well as regulation within the state of Georigia.
We only hire Atlanta caregivers who are Caregiver Quality Assurance Certified by successfully passing several pre-employment tests to determine dependability, integrity, and tendencies toward abuse. All Regency employees must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and DMV record check. Professional and personal references are confirmed. In addition, we are a drug-free work environment. All of our employees have verified current car insurance, are covered by workman’s compensation and are fully insured. Social Security and I-9 verification are completed and Regency withholds all payroll and government taxes as they are not subcontractors, but employees.
It is as easy as calling 678-999-2446 or filling out our Contact Us form to notify us of your need. We will set up an in-home assessment or consultation with you and your family at your convenience to determine specific needs and to develop a comprehensive plan of care. The free initial assessment will be completed by one of our experienced registered nurses.
With Regency Home Care, we do have a minimal level of service to ensure the quality you get from our caregivers at a minimum of four to six hours of service per visitation, depending on frequency of visits.
No. Unlike some companies, Regency does not lock you into a long-term contract, and you are only charged for the actual hours that one of our Atlanta caregivers is in your home. You will need to sign a Service Agreement showing our commitment to provide the services you need and the days and times you choose. As needs may change, our nurse will always be available to reassess our clients and provide advice for changes in care. You can change or stop service at any time with no penalties.
Yes. All of our caregivers are Regency employees and are insured and bonded, which provides your family complete protection against any liability. If a caregiver is ever injured while in your home, he or she is covered by worker’s compensation insurance which takes the responsibility off of you.
The majority of our clients enjoy the comfort of a familiar, primary caregiver. In situations where extended care is required, we assemble the best possible team to meet your needs. We introduce back-up caregivers early on in the client’s care plan to ensure familiarity and comfort while providing the highest level of care.
No. Our caregivers are Regency employees and we are not an employment agency. In order for us to provide only the highest quality caregivers, we invest a lot of hard work into the recruiting and training process. By signing our Service Agreement, you will agree not to hire our caregivers directly.
The cost for non-medical, in-home care varies depending on the type and amount of care you need. Generally speaking, we have a basic hourly rate and a 24-hour rate. Please contact one of our care coordinators for a free in-home consultation to develop a care plan that fits your specific needs and for a competitive rate quote.
In the early phases of hospice when the client remains in the home, Regency often works closely with hospice. Hospice nurses have overall responsibility for the medical support of the client but may in early phases only monitor the client during short visits to the home, providing any medication and reviewing the status of the client. Home care is often required to support the client and family on an ongoing basis, particularly when the client is completely bedridden and incontinent. During the latter phases, the ongoing care for the client may transition back to hospice.
